Jamie L. Seaton brings more than two decades of experience in real estate finance, mortgage lending, compliance, underwriting, and litigation support. Her work focuses on private and hard money lending, Non-QM lending, agency law, regulatory compliance, and loan documentation, working closely with attorneys, lenders, and brokers to navigate complex lending transactions and regulatory requirements.

Since 2010, Jamie has served as an expert witness and litigation consultant in matters involving real estate lending and agency, testifying before California state courts on fiduciary duty, underwriting standards, due diligence, agency relationships, and industry custom and practice.

Jamie is also the founder of DCU Private Money, Inc., where she has developed operational, underwriting, and compliance programs for private money, cannabis, and Non-QM lenders nationwide, and assists brokers with loan documentation and risk management.

She has contributed extensively to the industry through legal research and education, helping update leading California Department of Real Estate publications and analyzing proposed lending legislation as a legal analyst for S. Guy Puccio & Associates since 2010.
